Michelle Anderson performs with a variety of groups including the Vancouver Opera Orchestra, Pacific Symphonic Wind Ensemble, and West Coast Chamber Music Series. She has an active teaching studio at St. George’s School, and she also teaches privately.
Michelle is sought after as a clinician for educational workshops with students of all ages, and she holds regular workshops with the Vancouver Symphony Music Connects series and the Vancouver Youth Symphony Orchestra.
She currently conducts the Vancouver Clarinet Choir, which brings together talented amateur adult clarinetists. Michelle studied music at the University of Toronto with Joaquin Valdepenas and at the Aspen Music School with Ted Oien and Bil Jackson.
Michelle was the founding music director of the Vancouver Cadenza Community Band and enjoys conducting and leading musical workshops throughout BC.
