Principal Clarinet of the Orchestra del Teatro Carlo Felice in Genoa, Ms. Serangeli studied at the Conservatorio ”O. Respighi” in Latina and the Conservatorio ”N. Paganini” in Genoa. She also attended the Accademia Internazionale ”L. Perosi” in Biella with Antony Pay and the Accademia del Teatro alla Scala in Milan, specializing on Eb clarinet.
Ms. Serangeli is the winner of several competitions (L. Savina, V. Di Lena) and fellowships (Fondazione Bruno-Frey). As both First and Eb clarinet, she has collaborated with major orchestras such as: Orchestra del Teatro alla Scala, Filarmonica della Scala, Orchestra del Teatro dell’ Opera di Roma, Orchestra Sinfonica dell’Emilia Romagna ”A. Toscanini” and Lorin Maazel’s ”Symphonica Toscanini” playing in the most important concert halls worldwide.
She is regularly invited by Maestro Daniel Oren to play with the Orchestra del Teatro Giuseppe Verdi in Salerno, with whom she appeared in the 2011 Christmas Concert that took place in the Senate of the Italian Republic. The concert was broadcasted throughout Europe.
On September 1, 2009, Ms. Serangeli played with Giovanni Allevi in the All Stars Orchestra that performed live at the Arena di Verona. This concert was recorded by Sony for release on CD and DVD.
