CanadaLoose tenon
The sound of this mouthpiece was better than I expected. Only one problem was loose tenon of the mouthpiece, therefore I had to replace with new tenon. I have bought many brand new mouthpieces for my Bb clarinet and bass. This was my first experience of the loose tenon on brand new mouthpiece. Backun responded by email and stated that I have to replace it at the local repair shop. That was little disappointed.

Hi Chul, Thank you for your feedback. While it is not normally required, if your bass clarinet has a very large opening on the neck it is possible that our standard mouthpiece cork size will not fit. Therefore, we suggest getting your mouthpiece re-corked to fit this instrument for best performance. Thank you and we hope that you are enjoying your new mouthpiece!
